Initiatives in BSC Designer: Budget and Time Features
Strategic management implies much planning, especially when it comes to investments and time required to cope with the task and reach goals. The latest version of BSC Designer has offered users a new feature that will make planning and monitoring BSC easier and more convenient.
Previously, BSC Designer made it possible to assign initiatives to each indicator, as info to Google tasks and calendar, attach files and comments to KPIs etc. Such information is extremely helpful when analyzing changes in performance, features of KPIs and monitoring general situation with Balanced Scorecard.
The latest version of BSC Designer now features two additional initiatives options – budget and duration. Each indicator requires certain time and money to be improved. Relevant figures can be easily added through budget and duration features. Moreover, it is possible to perform simple calculations right in BSC Designer that now feature built in calculator. Users can also write down commentaries to budget and date ranges. Initiatives are displayed in a report, so all important info remains perfectly readable.
Initiatives features can be used as communication tools, i.e. it is easy to convey information and share it, in case BSC Designer is used by several employees.
