Adding Categories

Category in Balanced Scorecard Designer is a container for goals or sub-category;

• Each category might contain a goal;
• Each category might contain a sub-category;

To add a category you should follow three simple steps:

1. You should select root or item in a strategy tree.
2. Then you should click add category button on tool bar:
3. The new category will appear at a strategy tree, you will need to specify description of the category in the text box below.

Adding Goal

Adding goal is as simple as adding category. The only difference, you should select first the parent category.

1. First select any category at strategy tree
2. Click add goal button at toolbar.
3. Specify below the Name and Description of this goal.
4. Change goal details if necessary

Once all goals and categories were created you can balance the tree.
