Project check-in and check-out

Introduction - Functions Overview - Purchase Program

Check-in/check-out of BSC projects

BSC Designer can check out a project to a remote FTP server and later check in the project to make modifications in the future.

  • Use the "Check in project" command in the File menu to access a project on a remote FTP server.
  • Use the "Check out project" command in the File menu to save a local project to an FTP server.

FTP Profiles

Sometimes it is necessary to save projects to different FTP servers. In the "File" menu there is an "Edit FTP profiles" command, which will help to set up profiles for different FTP servers.

Access projects on FTP

Storing projects on FTP is necessary when you want to build a Balanced Scorecard cascade by linking several scorecards together. Using an Imported Indicator, BSC Designer users can access projects stored on FTP automatically.
